Built by Us. Growing What We Own.

Last week, colleagues from across the business came together for our annual Strategy Day to hear about the next chapter in TUGO’s journey, as our Leadership Team unveiled our two-year strategy: Built by Us. Growing What We Own.

The day provided an exciting opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come, celebrate what makes TUGO unique, and share our vision for the future. The day focused on the key priorities that will shape TUGO’s future, including our financial momentum, strategic direction, vision and values, channel strategy, how we support our clients, new product development, building team capability, and the investments we will make over the next two years. We also explored how we can collaborate even more effectively as one team to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers, colleagues, and the wider business.

To round off the event, we celebrated colleagues who have reached significant long service milestones. Their dedication, commitment, and contribution have helped shape TUGO into the business it is today, and we are incredibly grateful for the role they continue to play in our success. We would like to congratulate and thank the following colleagues for their outstanding commitment to TUGO:

  • Lee Personius
  • Alan Peel

  • Kath ennis Burton

Thank you to everyone at TUGO for your hard work, passion, and belief in what we do. As employee owners, we all share responsibility for our future and a stake in our success. Together, we’re building something special and creating a business where people, purpose, and performance thrive.

As an Employee Ownership Trust, every member of the TUGO team plays a part in our success. From enhancing the client experience and strengthening customer relationships to accelerating innovation, driving category growth, and exploring new revenue opportunities, the plan sets a clear direction for sustainable long-term growth.

The day also reinforced our commitment as a Certified B Corporation. Success at TUGO is measured not only by financial performance, but by the positive impact we create for our people, customers, communities, and the environment. Combined with our Sunday Times Best Places to Work recognition, it reflects a culture built on trust, collaboration, shared ownership, and continuous improvement.

One of the most valuable parts of the day was the open Q&A session, where colleagues had the opportunity to engage directly with the Leadership Team. The discussion encouraged transparency, curiosity, and collaboration, ensuring everyone had the chance to better understand our priorities and the opportunities ahead.
