Introducing the TUGO Community Stadium: A New Chapter for Banbury United and Our Community

TUGO becomes the new stadium sponsor of Banbury United, creating a platform for community initiatives, grassroots sport and positive local impact.

We are proud to announce a new chapter in our relationship with Banbury United Football Club, with the club’s home ground officially becoming The TUGO Community Stadium for the 2026/27 season.

For TUGO, this is about far more than putting our name on a stadium. It is an opportunity to bring together our commitment to community with our passion for supporting the people and organisations around us.

The partnership feels particularly meaningful because both organisations share a similar approach to ownership. Banbury United is a supporter-owned football club while TUGO is now proudly employee-owned. We believe that when people have a genuine stake in something, they can make a greater contribution to its future.

United as One

The TUGO Community Stadium will provide a base for our community initiatives under our United as One banner. It will help us strengthen connections between local businesses, grassroots sport and community organisations while creating opportunities to make a lasting difference across Banbury.

For TUGO founder and CEO Lee Personius, who was born and raised in Banbury, supporting the local community has always been close to home.

“TUGO has proudly supported Banbury United over the past two seasons, but when the opportunity arose to become stadium sponsor, we saw the chance to create something much bigger than a naming rights partnership.”

That approach reflects what community means to TUGO. It is about being involved, building relationships and finding practical ways to support the people around us.

Looking ahead

We have proudly supported Banbury United for the past two seasons and are excited about what this next stage of the partnership can bring.

As the 2026/27 season gets underway, we look forward to seeing The TUGO Community Stadium become a place where football, local businesses and community initiatives come together.

We believe in the power of people working together. Through our partnership with Banbury United, we hope to turn that belief into action and create a positive legacy for the community we are proud to call home.

United as One.

Supporting families across Banbury

One of the key initiatives that will benefit from the partnership is TUGO’s annual Christmas Hamper Appeal through The Lunch Box Project.

Last year, the TUGO team worked with local champions Prabhu Natarajan, Rowan Ridley and Jonathan Wise to deliver more than 500 food hampers and toys, distributed through 10 Banbury schools.

With Banbury United’s central location and strong community connections, we now have an opportunity to build on that work and reach even more local families in the years ahead.

For us, this is where the partnership really comes to life. The stadium becomes more than a venue for football. It becomes a place from which we can organise, collaborate and support initiatives that matter to the local community.

A partnership built on shared values

Our relationship with Banbury United is also a natural fit with TUGO’s wider purpose.

As a UK employee-owned and B Corp-certified foodservice business, we believe commercial success and positive impact should go hand in hand. We work with foodservice operators across schools, colleges, universities, stadia, workplaces, hotels, pubs and other venues across the UK and increasingly Europe.

Our focus is on helping foodservice teams deliver better food experiences with less complexity through practical solutions, sector expertise and strong partnerships.

But being a responsible business means looking beyond what we do commercially. It means considering the contribution we can make to the communities in which we live and work.

The TUGO Community Stadium is an important part of that commitment.
